No matter what musical instrument you play, there are only 7 notes that you can choose from, these notes are given names from the first 7 letters of the alphabet: A through to G (known as natural notes).

The six strings on the guitar running from thickest to thinnest are played openly (without fingers on the fretboard) are given a name from these letters, and they are also given number to tell you which string you should pluck.

The name of the note played and the number of the string running from thickest to thinnest are illustrated below:

E – 6th string (thickest)
A – 5th string
D – 4th string
G – 3rd string
B – 2nd string
E – 1st string (thinnest)

As you can see the thinnest string is called the 1st string, and the numbers go up as you increase in thickness. You must memorize this as this is very important and you will come across it often.

Fall is the great occasion to celebrate, not only Halloween, and Thanksgiving, but the community!
For 8 years my family and I have been living in Mansfield, TX. We find the community to be very supportive, and the people involved in helping others.

November 5th at 3PM Trinity Presbyterian Church in Mansfield, Tx will celebrate the Fall with a family fun day! Games! Bounce House! Food and music with exceptional artists such as Isaac Thomas and Cookie Alexander.

Bring your friend and welcome the neighborhood!!

Traveling has been a huge part of my life. 20 years on the roads around the World, from Asia to Brazil and always discovering new cultures, meeting incredible people and live deep experiences.
I spent all those years capturing ambiances, atmospheres and there is no better language than music to translate and combine them.

“Imaginary Travel”

Today’s World is amazing, in one click you connect with people on the other side of the Planet, read the news in Namibie, or learn a recipe from Guatemala. All new technology takes us a step further on the nomad’s road. A fantastic new way of living! And if the borders still exist there is this paralel World where they have been earased. Limitations become incongruous.

Looking back to all my recordings, traveling is the constant theme. Always. Then I was daydreaming about mixing different music styles and started to record here and there, add loops and sounds that I captured in different remote locations. For years I was thinking about this project and cumulated tons of sound material. Then with my friend and producer Zimar (from Abstrakt Reality Records) we recorded the main tracks in L.A.

Then I spent the last 3 years mixing, cutting, editing, creating layers of sounds and compose those tracks like pictures.

Imaginary Travel deep dive into the whole World. Create a meeting between Japanese taiko drums and Moroccan singers. Rn’B and Chinese choir. Come with me!
