Villa Lobos Instructional DVD
This is the very first performance and instructional DVD about How to Play Villa Lobos’ Preludes and Choros #1. Using the split screen and close ups, I show you in details all the possible fingerings for you to develop your own interpretation. Detailed exercises to play fast scales (like in Prelude #2), what is a Choros and how to play the rhythminc pattern, control the voicing and emphasize the inner voices (like in Prelude #5).
You will also learn how to play arpeggios evenly, increase the speed, and all the technical difficulties are subjects to exercises. Watch previews now:

Great souvenir like the improvised jam with mandolinist Peter Holmgren at Reservoir Music Center in Warwick (what a beautiful town!), the meeting with the legendary guitar maker Lou Mancuso who built guitars for Les Paul, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan…
